The Need For A Side Job...

Welcome to my "Side Job". During the week I am Political Scientist - more specifically a Ph.D. student at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). I have finished my course work and comprehensive exams and I am currently writing my dissertation. I am also an adjunct professor at Buffalo State College. I love political science, my research, and teaching undergraduate classes; it is literally my dream come true! When you are doing something you love life is grand.

Now we come to the weekend. Since I don't have a "real" job yet (in the next year or so I should have an Assistant Professor of Political Science position somewhere in the U.S.), I have to work a side job. What is my side job you ask? I sell, install, and repair consumer electronics in the Rochester / Buffalo, New York area. When I am not thinking about Political Science, I am usually thinking about the gadgets of the world. This blog is a direct result of that thought process.
